Best Photoshoot Locations in Jupiter, FL | Kayla Jacob Photography’s Location Guide

Choosing a location for your session just might be the most important part. It sets the entire vibe and should be chosen wisely. Read below for my reasoning.

Beaches: Dog beaches to Blowing Rocks.

  1. Jupiter Beach and Juno Pier: For the dog lovers.
This spot is nothing short of gorgeous. Just because it’s the beach doesn’t mean you can’t have variation. It offers beautiful sea grapes as well as the Juno Pier in the background. My favorite part is all the adorable dogs running around, but that might not be everyone’s cup of tea! Please take this into account if choosing this beach.

2. Coral Cove Beach: For the adventurous.
Oh where do I begin?! What I love about this beach is it’s always different. No sunrise is ever the same and the tides are always changing. The rocks are more jagged though, which is why I recommend this location to more adventurous families. It’s great for those wild ones that love to climb and explore and I get to capture those candid moments of kids just being kids.

3. Dubois Park: For the “Let’s play it safe” family.
This spot is Jupiter’s little slice of heaven. From it’s little lagoons to beautiful walkways, this park is truly one-of-a-kind. You have the opportunity to have the lighthouse as the backdrop or walk a little further and be oceanside. This spot is perfect for littles who love to get in the water but can’t handle waves. The only thing I recommend is to NOT have your session on the weekend. The park is completely full of people enjoying this beautiful spot!

4. Hobe Sound Beach: For the romantics.
This beach is just magical. It offers that beach serenity with tall grass and wide beaches and best of all, little amounts of people. It often feels like we’re the only people there. This spot is a beach favorite of mine for all sessions: family, maternity and couples. Dogs are also welcome!

Parks: Open fields to intimate spots.

  1. Riverbend Park in Jupiter Farms: Something for everyone.
What I love most about this park is that it offers so many types of aesthetics. You can get married under a big, beautiful oak tree or have a picnic next to a small lake. This park is great for kids of all ages, especially if they hate bugs and love to see deer in the wild!

2. Allapattah Flats: For the emotive.
This location is my favorite for the family that wants to showcase more connection than the scenery itself. This big open area gives way to witness the most amazing sunsets you can find in the East Coast of South Florida. My favorite spot in Allapattah flats has a beautiful tree for kids to climb, a long dirt road to run down and gorgeous green grass. I would like to caution you there is a lot of cows, which means a lot of cow manure to watch out for.

3. Juno and Jupiter Dunes: For the desert enthusiast.
The dunes are as close to the desert as you can get in South Florida. It offers lots of sand, different types of cactus and if you’re lucky, a tortoise sighting! This location is so fun to style a family for! You can go boho, western or just neutral and let the location show off it’s beauty. Downside is it can have ant piles but if you’re up for it, only a 5 minute walk down to the intercoastal. Perfect for those warm summer nights!
