What I love most about family photography is that you never know what to expect. Sure, you can know all the basics like camera settings, lighting, angles, but nothing prepares you for all the different types of personalities. I truly believe the only way to succeed in this industry is if you can “go with the flow”.
The main key to a great lifestyle session is to be comfortable and being true to yourself. Wearing something you feel good in translates through the pictures. Picking a location that means something to you not only is authentic, but your kids will be their best selves.
