So you’re going on vacation with your whole family for the first time in years: What’s a better way to remember it than hiring a photographer to capture your entire extended family?
As your photographer, I am here to guide you through ALL the questions you’re most likely going to have. How should we all dress? Am I still able to get just my core family? What if a family members don’t have the best mobility?
One of my favorite things about planning a session is the styling and constantly shopping for my client closet. I love seeing everyone feeling their best, standing out but also coordinating with the rest of their family. That’s why I send examples of outfits all laid out on Canva so it’s easy to visualize. Everything I pick out is based on age and personality.
Extended family sessions have become some of my favorite sessions this past year. Just because your whole family is there doesn’t mean that’s the only focus. My favorite part about these sessions is breaking into individual core families or groups, like cousins, and seeing how everyone interacts. I always get the sweetest, funniest shots.
Everyone’s family is different. We all come with our own hurdles to jump and I’m here to help you with everything in my power. I’ve worked with plenty of children and adults on the spectrum, making sure they feel not only comfortable but seen. I also have plenty of location options for those that don’t have the best mobility.
So PLEASE do not let any worry about planning an extended family session keep you from booking. It’s your photographers job to take away any and all stress. That’s what I’m here for 🙂
